Avec un bang, Montréal-Python vous reviens après les vacances d’été avec le plus bruyant évènement à date. Joignez-nous le lundi 17 septembre pour Montréal-Python 31, Onomatopée Orchestrale, notre première soirée de la saison 2012-2013, où nous traiterons de sujets aussi variés que les outils de build et les effets spéciaux. Le tout se passe à l’Université Concordia commençant à 18h.

Would this be a good event to attend as a (very) novice programmer that just started Computer Science?

I had planned to learn Python with ‘Learn Python the Hard Way’ in my free time, but as it is I know next to nothing about the language (or any other language really).

I think MP meetings can be interesting to beginners, because they can have a glimpse at very diverse uses, and meet the friendly community. If you didn’t come yesterday, look out for the October meetup and come have a look! We’ll also announce workshops (e.g. introduction to Python) on this blog.
